In 2019, the book was granted:

  • The First Rector of University of Łódź Prof. Tadeusz Kotarbiński Award for outstanding research work in the field of humanities (Rozmowa z laureatem and Film podsumowujący galę).
  • The individual first degree award for scientific achievement from the President of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Prof. Andrzej Lesicki.
  • The nomination to the Award of the Polskie Towarzystwo Badań Teatralnych (Polish Society for Theatre Research) for the best monograph in the field of drama, theatre and performance studies published in 2018. The award ceremony was held in the Theatre Institute in Warsaw on 25 Apr 2019 (film documentation).

Fragments of the book were published in the theatre programme of Hlapci (The Serfs), a performance on the motives of the play by Ivan Cankar (1910), directed by Maja Kleczewska in Slovensko mladinsko gledališče (Slovenian Youth Theatre) in Ljubljana (premiere on 29 Jun 2021).
